The AI economy is evolving rapidly, from simple tools to intelligent agents to fully autonomous agent networks. These networks represent the next frontier: AI systems that can coordinate complex interactions, manage resources, and exchange value independently at machine speed. But autonomous agents operating at scale need more than just intelligence. They need decentralized infrastructure that can match their speed and handle trustless value and information exchange, in real-time. The Sei Network is uniquely positioned, with its highly performance EVM infrastructure, to provide the rails for this evolution toward a fully autonomous AI ecosystem.

The ai/accelathon is a call to build the platforms and products that power it.

Using the Sei Network’s high performance infrastructure and a powerful suite of open-source tools, participants will compete in a hybrid competition to build the most innovative agents, tools, platforms, and applications across DeFi, payments, consumer platforms, and AI infrastructure.

Up to $1M in prizes and seed funding across 6 different prize pools, and a live VC pitch event awaits those who can accelerate the frontier of autonomous onchain intelligence.

The ai/accelathon is powered by the Sei Development Foundation, AWS, Alchemy, Crossmint, Dynamic, Faction VC, Manifold, Hello Moon, and Yei Finance, and enabled by AIDN, Cambrian, and the Sei Network.

Key Dates

Submissions will be open from now until August 5. Users will be able to make edits to their submission at any time up until the deadline. Submissions should be Sei native builds.

June 24: Submissions open on Dora Hacks

Begin building out your working agent, app, tooling, platform, or contribution. Your goal: make the Sei AI ecosystem better. However you see fit, choosing your approach from 5 distinct tracks.

For submissions you’ll need:

A live GitHub repo (bonus points for open-source)
A live integration with the Sei Network
A social account connected to your project

Tip: Launch your agent’s social accounts early and be active. The more social awareness you have, the better.

Where possible, integrate products like AIDN and Cambrian to power your projects, integrate with platforms like Crossmint, Rivals, or Cookie.fun to supercharge your build.

July 30-August 1: IRL Sprint at the SDF Headquarters in NYC

Featuring talks from key builders and investors, plus interface with the Sei Development Foundation team.

August 5 11:59 pm ET: Submissions close

Judgement week is coming!

August 9-15: Judging

The judging panel will review all submissions and make their picks. Winners and runners up will be selected.

August 18: Winners Revealed

Track winners and runner ups announced. All winners are invited to an upcoming AI Day in NYC.

August 20: Virtual VC Pitch for Winners

Pitch to a VC panel made up of top investors from across the crypto ecosystem. One project will walk away with the $75K ai/accelathon grand prize and momentum to build the future.

Grand Prize - $75k

The best projects from each of the tracks will have the opportunity to give a live pitch to a virtual VC panel, with the best overall project earning the grand prize.

Tracks & RFPs

Participants must submit their project under one of the six official tracks listed below. Submissions will be evaluated against the criteria within their track, and one winner and one runner up per track will be selected.

Each submission must include:

A public GitHub repository
A recorded demo of the submission
A description of how the submission addresses the goals of the selected track and is integrated with Sei
A social account

Defi and Payments Track - Powered by Yei Finance - $60k in total prizes

Build next-generation applications, agents, or infrastructure that utilize ai to enhance defi or payment systems on Sei.

- Payments agents
  - B2B Payments, Agent to Agent Payments, P2P Payments, Agent to API

Consumer Agents Track - $60k in total prizes

Build AI agents that bring Sei’s capabilities or data to mainstream consumer platforms

- Social agents
  - Telegram, Discord, X, LinkedIn Agents
- Artist agents
  - Music agents, film agents, photography agents, meme agents
- Gaming agents
  - In-game NPC agents, competitive gaming agents

Tooling and Infra Track - $75k in total prizes

Build the foundational tools and infrastructure that will power the next wave of AI innovation on Sei.

- Sei MCP Server enhancements
  - Improvements, new features
- Vibe-coding platforms and tools
  - No-code app launchpads, smart contract copilots
- Agentic wallets

Frontier Technology - $50k in total prizes

Push the boundaries of what's possible when AI agents interact with the physical or digital world.

  - Research Bounty Agents, IP Tokenization Agents, Academic Reputation Agents
- Robotics (real world agents)
  - Autonomous Payment Robots, Robot-to-Robot Marketplaces

MCPU Bonus Bounty - $15K

For University Students

We want to see all the ways MCP can be used to easily supercharge your onchain experience. Vibe code something cool with Sei's new MCP kit.

Use the Sei MCP Kit to develop a mini App through platforms like Claude or Cursor.
- One university winner will take home a $10k reward, and 5 university submissions will receive $1k each
- Must prove university enrollment with valid, up-to-date school ID or other proof

Artist Agents: LLMs + image models that mint and sell art on Magic Eden
Political Agents: Run a campaign, win votes, post hot takes and grow an audience autonomously
Venture Agents: Agents that can review pitches and give feedback, make investments, and run AI-driven VC funds

Requirements

All projects must integrate with the Sei Network and submit a Sei native product or contribution
All projects must have an active X account
All projects must submit a video demo and an explanation of how they have integrated Sei
